The Theology and Action Research Network (TARN) connects up researchers and practitioners involved in a variety of action and participative research with a theological perspective. The Network grew out of work done in developing the theological action research methodology (see here); but today it seeks to broaden this conversation. The and in our title is important to us, as it highlights our multi-perspective, trans-disciplinary reach. The Network includes not only practical theologians, but action researchers and others involved in participative research, as well as faith based practitioners across the globe.

Based at the University of Roehampton, London, UK, the Network holds seminars, training days, and colloquia, as well as providing a space on the website for sharing research ideas and experiences. Interested parties can be added to the mailing list by contacting us using the form provided.
