The Theology and Action Research Network (TARN) connects up researchers and practitioners involved in a variety of action and participative research with a theological perspective. Historically The Network grew out of work done in developing the theological action research methodology (see here); but today seeks to broaden this conversation to includes not only practical theologians, but action researchers, other involved in participative research, as well as faith based practitioners across the globe. The and in our title is important to us, as it highlights our multi-perspective, trans-disciplinary reach.
Based at the University of Roehampton, London, UK, under the Directorship of Dr. Clare Watkins, the Network holds seminars, training days, and colloquia, as well as providing a space on the website for sharing research ideas and experiences. Interested site visitors can be added to the mailing list by contacting us using the form provided.
